Abstract Gallery - Glacier
The Fox Glacier carved through the dramatic glacial valleys to flow into temperate rainforest. While many glaciers world-wide have been pulling back, this glacier still flows almost to the sea level, making it a unique active element of the last Ice Age.
This particular shot was taken on a trek up the side of the rain forest that runs along to the glacier, and by using the 105mm lens I managed to gain a detailed shot of one side of this spectacular glacier.
