On a walk along the river Gipping, I passed through an enclosed section quite close to Sproughton. Discovering this small but very noisy Weir, I stopped and studied it for the best possible shooting angle.

I decided not to play it safe this time and so whilst holding onto a wire fence, I leaned over the top of it, one foot on one foot off, and managed to capture the flowing water speckled with the light falling from the trees.
