With its unusual milky turquoise lake in front of it, Mount Cook stands majestically in the distance, reaching a height in excess of 12,000ft.

To get to the waters edge I had to climb down over around ten meters of boulders, wanting to show the vibrant turquoise blue against the dry grey of the rocks in front of me.
